Activities are great, but what God’s people really need is to worship the God who has delivered them from their bondage to sin (Eph. 2:1-10).  The heart of the Christian cries out to worship the true God.

A big part of worship is music.  We believe that music should be dynamic, encouraging, uplifting, and engaging.  No style of music is right or wrong, as long as it creates worship in our hearts.  The old hymns are wonderful-we still sing them.  A lot of newer music is great too-we fit that in as well.  Music, whatever the style, should clear our minds of distractions, and focus our attention on the God we sing about.  If music does not do that, then it has not served it’s purpose.

Come and join us for worship.  We worship Sunday mornings at 11am, Sunday evenings at 6pm, and Wednesday evenings at 7pm.  If transportation is an issue, no problem.  Just call our church office at (336) 584-9832 and we’ll make sure that our van picks you up and brings you back home.
