Every healthy relationship between a father and a child includes communication-and lots of it (1 Sam. 12:23, Col. 4:2). The same is true for our spiritual Father, he expects to hear from us often, and he delights in hearing from us (Matt. 7:9).  The child of God is to live a lifestyle of communication with God (Phi. 4:6, 1 Thess. 5:17).

Scripture teaches us to pray diligently for the lost (Rom. 10:1, Eph. 6:19, 1 Tim. 2:1-4). At OBC, we encourage regular prayer for the lost, and especially those who have never heard a clear, understandable explanation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We encourage you to join us in praying for these, such as the people group listed below.

Scripture also teaches us to lift up the burdens of our own lives and the lives of others to God (1 Pet. 5:7, Jas. 5:13). We encourage you to use the form below to submit prayer requests to our church. We assure you that these requests will be lifted up to God in the name of Jesus Christ.
