Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God with all that we are, all that we have, and all that we do (Matt. 22:37-38).  This is what we seek to do through our Activities.  However, Jesus also said that there is a second aspect to the greatest of all commandments-that we love our neighbor in the same way we love ourselves (Matt 22:39).  We fulfill our purpose when we serve others in the name of Jesus Christ (1 Pet.4:10-11, Acts 20:35).  We like to think of it as God loving you through us. In a real way, we are the hands of Christ.
