Growth in Christ.  We cannot fulfill our purpose without it.  Christ commanded us to go and “make disciples” of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20).  We believe that no church is a Great Commission church unless we are actively engaged in disciple-making.  Each Christian is required to do at least two things: grow in Christ and help others grow in Christ.  This takes place in small group settings and one-on-one relationships, in organized meetings and informal situations.

At OBC, we seek to disciple one another through Discipleship Groups.  These groups meet monthly to study the spiritual disciplines of a godly life.  Men meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 7am for breakfast, prayer, and discipleship.  The Ladies meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday evening of the month at 6:30pm.  These informal meetings are open to all who seek to fulfill their God-given purpose of growth in Christ.
