The 3rd annual ladies conference which was held this past Saturday night proved true of its name, “Day of Encouragement,” once again.  With fifty ladies in attendance, the evening was truly a blessing to many and more importantly, it was glorifying to Jesus Christ.

The evening began with welcome and prayer, followed by a time of praise and worship through music led by our praise team.  With hearts and minds prepared, our speaker, Mrs. Mindy Williams shared with us truth concerning issues we face as Christian women including fear, anxiety and our struggle with personal thought life.

Part One of Mindy’s message was followed by a wonderful dinner prepared by the Ossipee ladies.  During the dinner break, the ladies browsed the door prize table to see if their number had been chosen for one of the over thirty door prizes that had been collected.

Part Two of our conference began with praising God once again through praise and worship music.  Mindy returned to deliver the second part of her message which touched the hearts of many ladies in attendance.  All those who participated in this year’s conference would agree that although the enemy tried desperately to have us cancel the conference altogether, God definitely wanted to encourage us.

If you missed this encouraging event, you can listen to Mindy’s message here.  Be sure to download her handouts by clicking on “Sermon Notes.”  If you attended the event, be sure to share your comments below.

Thanks once again to Bethlehem Church for the use of their facilities.  Next year’s Day of Encouragement will be even bigger, better, and more encouraging.  Save the date on your calendar: September 29th, 2012.
